Relaxing at Lansdowne

That time of the year, when the schools release your kids from their clutches, though only for a few days. And parents just grab that break to break out from their routines. So it just needed a few clicks to figure out the Where, How and When of this very short gasp of breath.
Few well timed calls to travel companies, two sets of denims hastily thrown into an overnight bag, and an alarm on my mobile...
Yeah!! Time to go, even before the birds wake up! No time to cook and carry, just the pack of bread and butter and a special cup of green tea.
All the way spent in trying to hold the cabbie to the designated route, while he insisted on taking detours all the time.....grrrr....
Reached the place in twice the time as expected, so thought it best to spend some more time in searching for a good place to stay. Found a very charming homely cottage close to the market area, and, thanks to my foodie friends at +Eatlo, hit upon a very tasty meal in a recommended place. And that seemed to be the start of a very short though charming time in this army cantonment.
Some history learnt next day, two churches and caught in a quacking traffic jam.....all in pictures..
